After course completion, students get guidance for the RYA Yachtmaster Theory online exam. This at-home test consists of three sections, and feedback is given post-exam. Exam fees are inclusive unless required for commercial MCA validation*. Every student is guaranteed dedicated coaching until successful.
Graduates are equipped to captain a motor or sailing vessel, day or night, in intricate coastal and offshore conditions. The course concludes with the RYA Yachtmaster Shorebased certificate. To attain the full RYA Coastal Skipper or Yachtmaster badge, an additional practical session at a chosen centre is necessary.
The course is priced at £475, covering all associated costs. MCA Large Yacht qualification aspirants might need a supervised exam, potentially incurring an additional charge payable to the invigilator.
