Course Structure
Presented in both video and textual formats, each module is detailed with lessons and evaluations. Module tests, based on official RYA questions, receive bespoke feedback from expert instructors.
Exam Details
Post-course, we guide students towards the online RYA Yachtmaster Theory test. This at-home test has three papers, with feedback given post-exam. Examination fees are part of the course, unless for commercial MCA validation*. We pledge commitment until every student succeeds. With the online RYA Yachtmaster Theory qualification, students are equipped to helm a vessel, day or night, in complex coastal and offshore scenarios. To achieve the full RYA Coastal Skipper or Yachtmaster status, an additional practical session at a selected centre is obligatory.
Costs
The RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore Theory Course is priced at £345, all-inclusive. Those aiming for the MCA Large Yacht qualifications may need a supervised exam, which could lead to an added charge payable to the invigilator.
